In collaboration with other organizations our Patient Exchange Program is an initiative designed to foster connection, comfort, and emotional resilience among children battling lengthy treatments like those associated with cancer. This program pairs young cancer patients with pen pals—children who can offer heartfelt encouragement, companionship, and empathy. Some pen pals may also be navigating health challenges of their own, creating a shared space of understanding and mutual support. Through e-mails, videos, handwritten letters, drawings, and shared stories, participants find strength in knowing they are not alone. These meaningful exchanges offer a welcome distraction from treatment while helping children build lasting friendships, emotional resilience, and bonds that celebrate their bravery and inspire hope throughout their healing journeys.
Thanks to our partnerships and the generous funds we raise, Cure Little Hearts is able to support children in underserved regions by improving their access to cancer treatment.
